Efficient: The mist nozzle is equipped with a stainless steel filter in its inlet, efficient and reliable performance.
Wide Coverage and High Atomization: Under the condition of no wind or breeze, the nozzle can cover approximately 1-2 square feet within a height range of 1-3 meters. With a pressure of 2-10bar, the atomization particle size is about 50um, which can reach a suspended fog at 10-20bar. The higher the pressure, the better the atomization effect, with a maximum pressure of 50-70bar.
Sturdy: Made of materials and manufactured using a reliable process, the mist nozzle is sturdy and , providing an excellent service life.
Wide Application: The mist nozzle is widely used in various applications such as humidification cooling, dust cooling, fog testing, artificial fog, atomized fuel, evaporation, cleaning, landscape fog, and more.
Misting nozzles for outdoor cooling systems produce a fine mist that evaporates quickly and cools the surrounding air. This is different from other nozzles that may create heavy mists or streams of water or other liquids.
Pressure-based nozzles for misting systems can operate at a range of water pressures, from as low as 100 psi (7 bar) to thousands of psi (bar), depending on the exact model of nozzles. They can withstand a wide variety of water qualities.
Impeller-based nozzles are less common, but still very effective. They use a spiral-shaped interior to break up the water into droplets. They typically work at lower water pressures under 100 psi (7 bar). They tend to clog more easily, so water should be thoroughly filtered or treated to remove minerals.
Misting & Fog Nozzle Sizes
The standard nozzle range includes sizes from .008" to .020" orifice. They are available in brass with a stainless steel insert or as a special order in stainless steel material. Flow rates for this range vary from .020 GPM to .055 GPM
The cleanable misting nozzles include sizes from .006" to .020" and include an anti-drip adapter. They are available in brass or all stainless steel with orifice sizes from .006″ to .020″ and flow rates from .010 GPM to .045 GPM.
The nozzle adapter range includes extensions, clusters, and swivel fittings and multi-thread adapters.
